Together with Loredana Alfare (CNR-ISMAR), USI UNESCO Chair associated expert, Dr. Engelbert Ruoss, recently published the book “Governing Future Challenges in Mediterranean Protected Areas”.
“The intention of the book . . . was to examine current Governance and Management Systems (GMS) of Protected Areas (PA) in the Mediterranean Area and to assess their appropriateness to face future challenges, providing reciprocal benefits to local communities and environment.” (Ruoss, 2020).
